With so much heat coming on the PS Vita these days from the hacking community, it can be easy to forget that there is still a pretty strong audience standing behind Sony's original handheld as well. If you still happen to be into the PSP dev side of things, you might be interested to know that PRXDecrypter has been updated to include support for the system's more recent firmware versions.

That's right the Pro Team has released an update to their custom firmware that unlocks the true potential of the PSP. This update is still part of the beta process but shows a large step forward regarding the ability to play your games online with adhoc.

UPDATE: v1.8 has been released, addressing a small bug. After releasing his firmware dumper for the psp GO, neur0n is back with an update to his 6.60 ME & LME custom firmwares.

As most of you know there are a few CFW's out there to choose from already. Currently there is 6.60-ME and 6.60PRO-B but some of you my remember when it all started back in the days of 2.71-SE and how it all progressed from there with Dark_AleX running the show than later M33.
