Mysis' Remote Play Enhancements For CFW Consoles

If you are a hardcore PS3 user, Remote Play has to be up there somewhere on the list of Most Used Features, Activities or whatever you want to call it. If you are a hardcore PS3 hacker now, you would have at least one console that's making use of a 3.55 custom firmware. Now what if you were both? Mysis has released replacement files for PS3's Remote Play function that would allow you to use it with any application or game.

The official Remote Play applications released are limited to 6 PS3 applications which of course sucks on Sony's part. In order to remove this restriction, some file replacing has to be done on the PS3 side.

1. You'll need a PS3 running 3.55 custom firmware as you'll need FTP access.
2. Once you have access to the PS3 over FTP, transfer the 'premo_game_plugin.sprx' and 'premo_plugin.sprx' files to the dev_flashvshmodule folder.
3. Copy 'rmp_Launcher.exe' and 'rmp_dll.dll' to the installation directory for the PS3 Remote Play app on your PC.
4. Done. If your app does not work with Remote Play, consider changing it's game ID to one of the following:

• NPEA00135
• BCES00096
• NPEA90028
• NPEA90029
• NPJA00001
• NPJA00046

Mysis reports that this works with MultiMAN, Bionic Commando Rearmed and Bejeweled 2 demos as well as the PSX version of Silent Hill 1.
