Viral Website Provides Hints for Thieves in Time

This viral website has apparently been around for a while, but people are suddenly paying attention as a possible release date draws near.

We don't know exactly when Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (which is being developed by Sanzaru Games and published by Sony) will be released beyond sometime in 2012, but the website doyouknowsly.com offers us a little glimpse into what to expect from the game. The website features an Uncharted-like map with a bunch of objects on it that hint at where Sly will be going.

Feudal Japan is already in the bag (and there's a samurai helmet sitting right there), but judging from the objects on the site we could be looking at Ancient Egypt (the pyramid), some sort of desert (the saguaro cactus), Ancient Arabia (the genie lamp), and Paris (the Eiffel Tower).

Also, if you hover over the cigar in the lower left corner you will be prompted to enter a code. Enter "IGPU79" and you can watch a teaser that talks about the new villain, El Jefe.
