Rumor - Crystal Dynamics Working on Soul Reaver Reboot

This probably isn't the IP Crystal Dynamics  referred to a couple months ago, but cool news nonetheless.

They're already hard at work on rebooting the Tomb Raider franchise, but rumor has it that Crystal Dynamics is also working on rebooting the Soul Reaver franchise. It's been almost ten years since we've seen anything out of the Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver universe, with Legacy of Kain: Defiance coming out on the PS2 in 2003.

Soul Reaver, of course, focuses on the vampire wraith Raziel rather than Kain, but you can bet that Kain will make some sort of appearance.

With the popularity of vampires in mainstream culture still remaining inexplicably strong (I like 'em, but I find it strange that so many other people do nowadays) it makes sense that CD would be looking to get back into the vampire mix.

Would you welcome the return of Soul Reaver?

Reboot??? Did the story from the whole legacy of kane/soulreaver stuff ever conclude?  It has been ages since I palyed either but I think the story wasn't wrapped up.
