Paintown 3.6.1 Packs a Punch

If you're a fan of the classic side-scrolling beat em up, then odds are you may have heard about the popular homebrew title known as Paintown. Thanks to some changes by a developer called lunnuxx we now have a completely new version of the game complete with a new character!

For those of you that have played Paintown before, gamers will know that there are quite a few aspects that will draw some charm out of this title. The vintage game mechanics are going to remind quite a few os us of the hours that we spent playing games like Turtles in Time on the SNES which alone could be enough to make any real industry enthusiast happy. However, another real shining point tp this whole experience are the characters too. What other chance will you have to pair Street  Fighter favorites like Chun Li with the ninja turtles? Let's be real you're not going to find that anywhere.

That's why we are super excited to announce that this updated version includes yet another famous face for you to throw into battle. Yes indeed, now you can officially play as Ragna Bloodedge from blazblue. Obviously since this is a brand new addition to the title, the developer cautions that the move list is going to be very sparse for now, but  that doesn't mean he still can't kick some butt against some of the more formidable opponents. There is even a hint drop that an Xbox 360 version may be coming soon too. Are you all ready to feel the pain once again?
