its another little kids console, I think they just want to have more control over the family orianted market, I like some stuff that they do with their consoles, but since its for my kids i won't purchase one until a couple years after its released and price has dropped drastically, still they should've at least matched up to the ps3 or xbox 360, they are gonna be too behind

It's nonsense. Several Developer also stated with their names, that they are impressived how Wii U surpress the actual consoles graphicaly. And thats Now a magazine said, that several developers are unhappy about the console.
Nearly every big Publisher said the opposite. And now we should trust a magazine, which doesn't even say which developer we're speaking off?
That's not News worthy. There just some guys, who want publicy.
It's sad, that they get what they want.

well, according to what i read in other sources, this is still not really confirmed, n i think that dude is talking about a dev kit, not the actual console, n usually these kits have beta versions n whatnot, so there is a possibility that what he is describing is not the final model of the Wii U, n that is IF what he is saying is true.
However, if we assume that what he's talking abt is infact the final Wii U model, maybe when he did his comparison to the PS3 n the 360, he did it on paper, like ok ps3 got bigger memory, higher cpu power,etc..n so the result was that the Wii U has less capabilities, BUT it is well known that when they design a game or any application in general for a console or a handheld n such, the game/app in general does not consume all the machine's juice, i mean look at the PS3 games now, i would say games like uncharted 1 & 2 did not really take full advantage of the PS3 cpu power nor its graphical abilities, while uncharted 3 and maybe god of war 3 did that, i would say there is like more than 70-80% of the PS3 games that did not really suck up all the ps3 abilities, more like just used 50% or 70% of what it can really do, u can see that clearly in the graphics n loading times differences between several games...
now what i wanna say is that, even if the Wii U got slightly "lower" hardware abilities, that don't mean the Wii U graphics will look "lower" than the majority of the PS3 games, but infact maybe just 20% if not less of the PS3 games will look slightly "better" than the majorty of the Wii U games, now that is my 1st point.
the 2nd point is look at some of the current Wii games, games like COD and mario galaxy, if u compare those games to the majority of the Wii current games, u might think that COD n mario galaxy can NOT be Wii games, what i mean is, EVEN if the Wii U does have some "lower" hardware abilities that does NOT mean that some dev's and specially Nintendo dev's can not make some games on it that push the Wii U to it's limits that makes their games on the Wii U look even better than the best of the PS3 games, so NEVER underestimate the power of Software, it is not always about the hardware.
Now, are all the things i've said above are they enough excuse to release a console like the Wii U which is SUPPOSED to compete with PS4 and the xbox720 not the current generation, are they enough excuse to makes it slightly lower or even as good as the PS3 n xbox360 ? definitely NOT!.
All am saying is (n i know i typed alot already) IF the news is true n the Wii U got such abitilies then yes nintendo you are making a mistake, n that was not a smart move, BUT also EVEN if it is true, according to what i explained above, such abilities of the Wii U does NOT mean that it will suck, just that it was not as hoped but i still believe it would be a good console n just having an HD abilities will make it sell, specially n this is a great advantage of the Wii U it will be released 1-2 years before the PS4 and the XBOX360, n some people just can not wait n will buy it.

Nintendo started staying one step behind.
Like the Wii vs. PS3 & Xbox.
And the DS vs. PSP.
Even worse the 3DS vs. PS Vita.
Now they're gonna be 2 steps behind with the Wii U vs. PS4 & XBOX720!
Nintendo only gets worse as the technology keeps getting better.
Maby it will change in the future.(I don't think it will).
Nintendo should join Sony. (It would be kinda ironic because Sony used to be a part of Nintendo).

Well this is a no brainer. I could have told you this 6 months ago when we learned about the Wii-U. It's the sign that nintendo pretty much has given up. They are slow, and just unwilling to comitte. Instead, they recycle the same games over and over again. Couple that with gimmick devices that are used to "revolutionize" the industry, and you have a very sceptical fanbase and public. Oh Nintendo... How I wish you would just end it all, already...
RIP Nintendo... You will be missed.

Its not always really up to the hardware. IF you remember the Gamecube i think Metro prime got the best graphics over all games? And its not that powerful.

Why are we screwing around, we just need to turn the lights out... For good. NNEMP generators can be carried as a payload of bombs and cruise missiles, electromagnetic bombs with diminished mechanical, thermal and ionizing radiation effects and without the political consequences of deploying nuclear weapons. A couple of these and the lights go out in Tripoli. It will leave them helpless. These are not something from a science fiction book, they do exist and they should be used immediately.public liability insurance cost

The WiiU will probly have as good or better than the PS3/Xbox but lets answer this. What was wrong with those graphics? theyre good enough for me, some of them even look real (i guess we'll have to see the other next gen consoles first). I almost garuntee that the WiiU will be CHEAPER than the PS4 n Xbox (assuming they dont pull a Vita again). also they pretty much give you a free TV so your kids and you dont have to hog the HDTV all the time. they're very innovative and i think some of the better ideas will surface one of these days.
