We know about Orbis and how Sony is confident in making it the first next gen console to be released. What else can be said about Orbis between now and release? AMD will be providing both the processor and graphic cards but what exactly will the Orbis get to use?
The sources say that Orbis will use AMD's A8-3850 APU for the processor and the Radeon HD 7670 on the graphics end. Both will be specifically tailored to the console. The APU is a quad core clocked at 2.9 GHz and it has an integrated graphics card. The APU will work hand in hand with the HD 7670, the same card powering the Xbox 720 with DX11 and 1 GB of dedicated RAM.
As more information about Orbis starts to form, how much longer until people start dropping their opinions about which console is superior, or has that already been done?
