Wanna Play Uncharted For Free?

Uncharted creators, Naughty Dog have announced that they will be releasing the Uncharted 3 multiplayer as a free PSN download. The game has been stripped down to just the multiplayer section and will be available as a free download, with the catch being that various weapons, skins and taunts will all have to be purchased.  Iit is still unknown whether you'll be able to unlock them as rewards.

 

Uncharted's Lead Game Designer approached Sony with the idea of a free-to-play version of their multiplayer and when asked about this, the following was said... "Sony is always open to interesting ideas. When we approached them with this idea for making Uncharted 3 free-to-play, and showed them this business model that we want to do, and they said we should go for it."

 

It is understood that most unlockables within the game will cost around the $0.99 mark, excluding the levels barriers. The release for the free-to-play multiplayer is yet to be confirmed.

So who thinks they are going to get involved with the 'free-to-play' multiplayer, despite the small charges?

I don't think its just for PS Plus considering its free. Its a good idea from Naughty Dog though.

last time i checked it was out in america, any one heared of http://blog.us.playstation.com/ ? they will tell you every thing you will ever need to know about any thing coming out, and it is straight out of the hourses mouth.
