True Blue a Scam Says TeaM AC1D

Reading over at monkeydesk cfwprpht has posted some news that many have been waiting for. Reports indicate that the True Blue dongle is a "scam", has little to none code and uses files from higher firmware. TeaM AC1D explains that using these plugins/sprx files from higher firmware is the secret behind True Blue.
First of all, none of the code used comes from the true blue creators. All files used come directly from higher PS3 firmwares. This works by using plugins / sprx's who are basically just drivers, from a higher firmware ps3. To get games to work, you need to use the files from higher firmwares, that games require. Those plugins we are talking about, so have the decrypt information stored in them that use the games to work. Some of the newer sprx's are compatible with older firmwares and can be used on older firmwares quiet easily. All you need to do is place them in the right folder and thats it.

The dongle is there to serve a purpose, which it does, it works.
As far as I'm concerned It doesn't matter how it was done.

I would not buy a TB dongle because I think that it will become unusable soon and I say it is not cheap at all. But if it is so simple to explain its working why is it so difficult to make a way to work on a CFW for example?

we need to be able to run a jailbroken OS through a USB attatched HDD...like, a seperate attatchable jailbroken ps3 OS. that way, we can detatch it and play online on official FW. but the more i think of this being a possibility, i think we need the "other OS" option in system settings... :/

who the hell cares how they did it? not me thats for dam sure, if it actually works that another thing, and if it does i could care less how, i just like to play the game ;)

If its that simple then it should be like the Wii where you can just install cIOS WADs to update the older systems to play newer games, so if its that simple lets see some pkg installers that add game compatibility.

I'm hoping this might mean the release of a new custom firmware... maybe an altered kmeaw...?

They say the dongle works by simply redirecting the game to load plugins from the dongle which are from newer PS3 official firmwares. If this is true, then it should be easy enough to make your own dongle or even install TrueBlue's files on the internal HDD. Hopefully one of the devs out there will be able to do this themselves.

so TeaM AC1D knows how it woks released your patch...
so that no one buy a TB dongles...

Fact is if it's so simple Like they say why haven't they released a free solution. Shouldn't call anything a scam unless you gran away around buying a dongle. $60 ain't shit for free games just saying.

there are two problems:
1. are selling a fake. yes it works but not the way they spoke. for most people it makes no difference, but it is still misleading advertising.
2. original files are using the ps3, then both he and all who use the dongle are using software, or portion thereof, owned by Sony pirate

He may be right, in that the tricks used by the dongle are trivial patches mixed with encryption and obfuscation to artificially create the 'trueblu' product- but thats the only alternative available.
Apparently with a profit incentive people are more willing to produce these solutions, and without the profit incentive you have alot of promises and empty words. Team AC1D, Kakaroto, Mathieulh and the whole ps3 scene is a testament to this.

you just keep on talking and talking but none of them released a cfw or a proof for a long period of time. why dont you help the people and released asap. your just destroying tru blu. they are the one who discover on how to play on higher cfw.

I think its not a scam because True Blue let us play 3.60+ games unless you can prove us and share us CFW of 4.0 .
Team AC1D, Kakaroto, Mathieulh has lot of saying that they will create CFW? But where it is? I think they promise to released it last year??? Look until now.. nothing happens! These are pussies
