Trip To Comic-Con 2011

Today I took a trip into East London to a little place called the London Excel Centre, this is where all the biggest events and conventions in the United Kingdom are held and this is where I went today to attend 2011s Comic-Con. Dont let the name fool you, its not all nerds dressed up in costumes buying old dusty comics, its actually considered the biggest gaming event in the United Kingdom. There was a small lie in that description; there were in fact thousands of nerds dressed up in costumes, excluding me...still a brilliant event. The showcase of well known companies such as Capcom, Nintendo and Ubisoft were nothing short of awesome, I was able to test games and consoles that havent even been seen by most people, except perhaps on YouTube. I got to experience Final Fantasy XIII-2 in all its glory, unfortunately for the Xbox 360 (I prefer the game on PlayStation 3), as well as this I played the latest Zelda instalment. Ill be honest, it didnt particularly impress me, and the graphics were somewhat weak and didnt match what we see on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 today. Apart from this, inside Capcoms boxing ring there was Street Fighter X Tekken which appeared to be the most popular point of interest and was flooded with anxious fighting enthusiasts, other smaller areas that were still filled included Arkham Asylum, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Soul Calibur.
