The PS4 To Win The Next-Gen Race?

Now we know that the Xbox 720 is aiming for a Xmas 2013 release. With new details coming in on the Microsoft side of the street, what is Sony cooking up in their marketing strategies to make the PS4 the better deal?
The reports are saying that Sony is planning to release the PS4 ahead of the Xbox 720. Sony is already working with publishers in regards to the PS4 and that internal meetings will be held as early as May. (Which is right in time for E3) It also is being mentioned that the Vita will have some sort of connectivity with the PS4.
Going in with standard AMD hardware and DirectX allegedly for a start, how long will it take for Sony to put it all together? With both companies being silent as to bringing something to E3, it makes you think what they are up to.

Im not buying that AMD crap, theres a reason why AMD is not used for gaming and I bet sony doesnt whant to see windows ported to their console.

Please tell me ur just overtired or something and arnt thinking clearly.
AMD is MADE for gaming. Only when the intel I processors came out did people even begin to think "oh it doesn't have to be AMD?"
And AMD still controls the gaming world unless u are willing to buy the 1500$ intel processor. I'll stick with my overclocked AMD Phenom X2 any day over intel crap.
Also for the record. Ur comment on porting windows would mean it would have to be an intel chip.

Well Honestly AMD did have the first 64bit OS then intel supported it later. IF you do know how to build computer's you would know that AMD isn't a bad brand. Its alot cheaper then intel's pricy products. If you do your research and make sure everything is compatable and you get no faulty hardware (which sometimes it does happen but also note its sometimes damage in shipping) then you get a really great computer.

Let me tell you ATI FirePro V cards arnt crap and for a while Nivida has being playing catch up when it comes to gaming and if they stick anythng as powerfull as there lowest end v card the Graphics will be immense thats like saying the good old classic dont buy Onkyo ''No One has herd of them before''

FirePro cards aren't for gaming they are for peole working in the graphical industry doing 3d modeling and CGI stuff. They won't really boost in game preformance much over any of the high end HD Radeon cards.

Sony's new console will be so locked down and will be wanting to call home for every little action will there be any point anymore? The audience that is targeted isn't necessarily the educated customer but the compulsive one. I believe this next generation of consoles will show a great divide based on cost and distint features available.

The CELL CPU out preforms desktops so much that its bandwidth for the XDR Ram is 3200MHz (25.6GB/s), reads in less clock cycles than standard CPUs. This was technology released in 2005. The Cell CPU is sufficient enough to outpreform the RSX in raw graphical computing power because of its design and how the Cell operates. THE ONLY THING STOPPING the PS3 from outputting even HIGHER end graphics is its lack of Video Ram, Since the RSX has slower Ram than the PS3's XDR Ram there isn't a lot of performance and capacity for more resolution intense gaming (ie- bringing up 3D Resolution). IF IF IF Sony released a PS4 that used More CELLs they would have enough power for a LONG Time. Ditch AMD, but You can't compare consoles to pc hardware because DDR3 doesn't even operate at 2000MHz+ On the consumer grade level.

Yo when they are saing ther working with amd they diden't mean they will use ther proccesor technology maibe ther using something for the graphic output on the ps3 they used nvidia this time they might use ati!

Hey when they say ther working with AMD that doesn't mean they might use ther procesor technology maibe ther using something from ther video cards chipset, on the ps3 they used from Nvidia this time might be AMD , did u se the AMD proccesor that has a Video card in it?Maibe something good will come out sice AMD video cards control the gaming !
