Spec Ops: The Line Gameplay Trailer - Got Sand?

Sand, murky morality, third-person shooting, and more sand - that's Spec Ops: The Line.

Details about Spec Ops: The Line have been trickling out at a fairly good pace elading up to its June release, and it just keeps looking better. It's a third-person shooter (for a change) that puts you in the middle of a massive sandstorm that has effectively destroyed Dubai. The shifting sands play a major role in the game, as does the murky morality.

The developers have said that they've drawn heavily from Heart of Darkness (or Apocalypse Now, if you will) in addition to movies and TV shows like Generation Kill and Black Hawk Down to bring a little more realism to the game as far as the choices you make and the repercussions that result.

It's already being called "a thinking man's shooter." Hmmm.

Spec Ops: The Line is due out June 26th in North America and June 29th in Europe.
