Sony Officially Announces The Even Slimmer PS3

At a press conference held before the Tokyo Game Show, Sony has announced the new PS3 that we've all seen featured and talked about numerous times in the past. Between three different bundles being launched at different times, the new PS3 will be packing 250GB and 500GB hard drives. Along with that, will come your color choice. The 250GB model will be available in both Charcoal Black and Classic White while the 500GB model will only be available in the former. If you're looking to get your setup with the former of each choice, then that will be available alongside Uncharted 3: GOTY a week from now, on September 25th for $269.99.

As for the Classic White, then you're left waiting until November 22nd. The 500GB Charcoal model will launch on October 30th to coincide with the release of Assassin's Creed III. Unfortunately, no prices have been given out on that as of yet.
