Sonic Loved By PlayStation Fans

A lot of focus has been put into indie games recently, however I wouldnt necessarily consider this title to fall into that specific category. Regardless of its category, this is most definitely a PlayStation Network title, a reworked one though. It would appear that all the PlayStation fans in the United States are also huge Sega fans, and in particular Sonic the Hedgehog. Recent statistics regarding PlayStation Network downloads have shown that the ported Sonic CD was the top selling PSN game in the U.S in December. Sonic has spiralled into a world of spin-offs, making it right up there with the top franchises in the gaming world, yet appears to be grasped firmly into Segas clutches...never to be let go. Away from Sonic for a minute and we see Infamous latest DLC grab second spot for December, followed by HBA JAM: Fire Edition, PAYDAY: The Heist and Trine 2. Let me know your thoughts.

That's probably because the older Sonic games weren't as shit.

most kids like any sonic, even the 3d ones.  the original sonic games weren't shit, they were masterpieces.  unfortunately they were only really masterpieces on the Genesis/CD or Mega Drive/Mega CD.  I mean you could argue that Sonic Adventures for Dreamcast was good.  You could also argue Sonic Advance games were pretty good.  But the genesis games are classics and were neck and neck with Mario at that time.
