Scheduled Maintenance On The EU PSN For First Party Titles Come May 3rd

It's a new month, so that means a new round of maintenance. However, it's not the total shutdown that you're used to. As announced on the European PlayStation forums, this Thursday's maintenance will be affecting first party titles.

Between the hours of 5 AM and 11 AM BST (That's 1 - 7 AM EDT here), there will be maintenance on those titles. There has been no word as to if the other regions will be undergoing this maintenance as well. If nothing pops up within the next couple of hours or tomorrow, nothing should be happening. It should be noted that some gamers may experience disruptions in other games, notably Flow, LBP: Karting, the SOCOM lineup, MAG, MLB '12 and Motorstorm.

While it is that time of the month, it isn't the usual shutdown to the usual online services. It would be pretty inconvenient if any of the games that you pop in on Thursday wouldn't be able to go online.
