Running PS3 Games On The Vita...

Users have been able to use hacked versions of their PlayStation 3 system to run games through their PS Vita via Remote Play. The PlayStations firmware was updated to version 4.00 to support the release of Sonys latest handheld; this is so the console recognises the Vita and can interact with it. However many users are still running the hacked firmware version of 3.55 that was vulnerable to the Fail0verflow exploit. This older version of firmware didnt necessarily support the Vita itself but it did support additional devices such as cameras and mobile phones, because of this the PlayStation along with this hacked firmware sees the device as a phone that allows Remote Play. As a result you can use the Vita and PS3s Remote Play function to run games on the Vita via your PlayStation 3 system. Currently the largest problem is input lag between the device and the functions, and I'm not sure if this can be fixed. Let me know your thoughts.

Here's my thoughts- wooooo! I always wanted to play PS3 Games, 720P-1080P in the *soon to be smallest* screen in my House. (not to mention the fact the limited library of games this supports....)

I like how the Article is labled "Run PS3 Games on the Vita" and after 2 Seconds of reading this article, there's no comments on this blog, why? Because the users can obviously tell when something is being RAN on the Vita, to when something is being STREAMED to it.

Come on, Greg it's like you let a whole team of highschool kids run your Blog? Was money really that tight even with the Ad revenue?!?! :/

ya i kinda noticed that as well. This site is getting bad. Seems to post a bunch of junk. I myself have started C++ programing and hopefuly I'll be able to write some home brew sooner or later ^_^

yeah, i thought maybe it as a typo for being able to run vita games on the ps3, as i could see that posibly happening sometime soon, but of course no ps3 running on vita

I'm just pissed at sony getting acquisitive and captivation aback tech...you can play all amateur on a afraid ps3 and afraid vita. Pisses me off they know how, jogos de fazenda they just will not accord it to it's barter even admitting they would've had to. All there accomplishing is afflictive there accessories getting afraid to hell, I feel like if you wish something done you accept to do it yourself with sony
