PSN Maintenance Today? What Is Sony Up To?

Yes, it's that time of the month that we all know so well. It's the day where Sony shuts down access to the usual goodies to work on them. Even servers and supercomputers need to be worked on. But what are they up to this time?
Between the hours of 8 AM - 11 PM PDT (that's 10 AM-2 AM EDT), the PSN will be under maintenance. Stuff like PlayStation Home and the Store, will not be accessible. However, online play is said not to be affected if you managed to sign in 5 days before. That's a new rule that I'm about to start following, the 5 Day Rule.
Anyways, it's ongoing now, so if you manage to get online, good for you. If not, then you will have to wait it out and perhaps get your fix on the Xbox 360.... Or worse.

Xbox live is NEVER "Down" for maintenance and is leaps better then psn

xbox 360? hahahahahahahah ahahahahahahaha h ah. that is nothing but a waste of money. graphics suck hardcore. games suck more and u have to pay to play. u can do so much more with ps3. xbox is limited on what it can do and not to mention it gets hacked easier

i never have an issue with the psn.only issues is cause they fix it to block out hacking methods.what they dont relise is they kinda lost on that battle.course you need to get a device in order to downgrade to hack newer ps3s but ya they pretty much lost ;P
xbox honestly is alright but i dont see the hype things look better and run smoother on the ps3 plus its going fwd in technology whereas xbox is behind in times.also since when is xbox a company thats still a youngin better than sony and playstation a network thats been out for centuries.just my personal opinion.if your an xbox fanboy stay out of ps3 hacks as obviously we are not directing our attention to you-ƒR()§†H@X

Have you given any real thought to what you're saying? The PS3's graphic capabilities are greater (to a certain degree) but the 360's graphics don't suck. Sure, compared to even a modest current PC, both consoles are showing their age, but they can still deliver some stunning visuals.
Since most games come out on both consoles, the only real point you may have is that the PS3 has more first party games and of a higher caliber than the 360. That said, the 360's 3rd party offerings are more compelling, with major DLC timed-exclusives and a higher capture of online play, if you're into that kind of thing.
As for your hacking comment:
a) This site is called dashhacks.com, so why are you complaing about that here?
b) The PS3 is much easier to hack than a 360 (easier to soft-mod than the original Xbox by a long shot, let alone JTAG/RGH on a 360) but it doesn't support current games. True Blue seems fairly simple, again an easier hack than either Xbox version.

I dont know why some folks have to get so anal and dis other consoles, I have a PS3 and 360 a wii, vita and a high end PC (Well it was when I opened the box last week probably not anymore
why cant we just agree that the 360 is better at some things (And has some better games) and the PS3 is better at others (And also has some better games.)
I must admit I prefer online play on the xbox but prefer move to Kinect, neither console is totaly better than the other sony makes mistakes as does microsoft fanboys stop the bitching and give both a go ;-)
