PS3 Game Sharing, From 5 Devices to 2

Submitted by greg; November 04, 2011

Well ain't that about a bitch... You know how you can buy a PSN game, download it, enjoy it, and even share it with up to 4 other friends? Well Sony's coming to rain on your game-sharing parade because after November 18th that's no more. Game content purchased after said date will be dropped from 5 to 2 activations only ... for you and your BFF, that's it. Game content purchased before said date you can still activate & share with 4 other devices, which is kind of cool... I guess... PSN'ers are able to change the activation settings through their PS3 console, and also SCE plans to provide an account management website whereby users can deactivate devices attached to their PSN account. About time, considering I have 3 PS3's in my home: living room, office, and bedroom ... plus some now defunct PS3s that are God-knows-where. So that's all right. Anyway, what do you think? Share your thoughts, feelings, whatever below. - source: blog.eu.playstation.com

for sure... it's annoying having to call them to deactivate devices on your behalf. they usually raise a stink about it.

Sony was very helpful in deactivating all of my broken devices haha no complaints or anything! But oh well I only share my stash with my BFF and no one else, cheap mofo friends who can't even say THANKS MAN! don't deserve to mooch off my hard earned money. :P
