It isn't the Vita but Sony has launched a new music streaming service for mobile devices called PlayStation Game Music in Japan. The service allows you to stream soundtracks from several PlayStaton titles such as Final Fantasy and Monster Hunter. The service originally was launched as the PlayStation Game Music Feature but only included tracks from first party games. The service now includes third party content.
PlayStation Game Music can be accessed via streaming services provided by NTT Communications, MTI, Enterbrain, Oricon and Dwango. It will include content from Final Fantasy XIII-2, Monster Hunter, Dynasty Warriors and the Yakuza series. As if it wasn't enough, the numerous sound effects that can be heard on PlayStation's lineup of consoles can also be used. Maybe you can use the trophy unlock sound to fool your friends into thinking that your phone does PS3 games... or whatever.
