Some surprises, some...not so much. The complete roster for Street Fighter X Tekken has yet to be revealed, but we are slowly getting more and more hints of what is to come. Today we have some leaked move sets to pore over and they reveal a few more characters.

Over the last 4 months the UK gaming market has been controlled by pretty much 4 major titles, FIFA, COD, Battlefield and Assassins Creed. People bought these forever popular games which fuelled a very typical year in gaming, and although the new number one definitely isnt a new idea, it has switched things up a bit.

In 4 days time, the name Playstation Network will somewhat cease to exist. On February 8th, Sony will be merging PSN accounts into their Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) umbrella to streamline operations. Sony Entertainment Network, if you can remember, first surfaced after a PSN Terms of Service revision a while back. With the Vita released, the SEN name has been used there as well.

I recently pre-ordered Square Enixs most recent title Final Fantasy XIII-2, which was a great idea because I awoke today with the PS3 version of the game waiting for me. It is because of this that I was able to rack up roughly 4 hours of gameplay on the title today and let you know my personal opinions and thoughts.

psx-scene seems to be on a roll these days releasing methods, modifications and tools for your PlayStation 3 and games and at the same time encouraging developers to contribute to such said scene. A member of psx-scene, CrashSerious, has released the intended RSOD fix created using psl1ght.

Two of the biggest titles in 2011s history have reached a huge milestone, proving that they are included in the list of great games that have been available to gamers on the current generation of games consoles. These games were available for both Sonys PlayStation 3 and Microsofts Xbox 360, as well as this they were also on PC, but that is irrelevant to this bit of news.

It's Batz versus Jokerz in wacky FPS action. Gotham City Impostors is finally coming out next Tuesday after being delayed and going through myriad betas that have those who participated waiting with breathless anticipation. The official announcement came today amidst the last beta run. Warner Bros and Monolith are at long last ready to do this thing.

I don't know what the heck is going on, but I like it. It's hard to tell what exactly is going on in the new story trailer for Capcom's Dragon's Dogma, but it sure looks good. It takes the hyper-realism approach of Skyrim instead of the cartoony, World of Warcraft look of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, which is a good thing in my book.

PlayStation 3 developer DeViL303 has released an update to his XMB mod bringing it to version 0.06. XMBFM is a file manager for custom firmware 3.55 and below. He also states that this could be used for official firmware but perhaps not out the box.

As someone that owns an Xbox 360 and a PlayStation 3 I can honestly sit here and say, in my opinion, that the PlayStation is a better console. I enjoy the exclusives more and the overall experience just seems better. However that is my opinion, but Ill tell you what is a fact. Xbox Live is better than the PlayStation Network, it doesnt come much simpler than that.

38 Studios founder says they'd "go away" without an online pass. Curt Schilling (yes, the former MLB pitcher - he's a hardcore gamer), founder of 38 Studios, recently defended his company's use of an online pass for their soon-to-be-released game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - even though the game has no online gameplay whatsoever. The online pass merely unlocks additional content.

It seems that France have now decided to become involved in Sonys next generation talk and rumours. Several important pieces of information have been floating around whilst bosses in Japan and the United States have been contradicting with their opinions about Sonys next generation console, as well as supporting each other...its pretty confusing times.

PlayStation 3 developer Evilnat (aka nathanr3269) released a tool set called PS3 PUP/Dev_Flash File Spoofer v3 Tool. This tool set allows one to spoof the necessary files from dev_flash and the PlayStation update file. Today he has made an addition to this tool set which repacks the spoofed PUP file which you can install on your PS3.
