Ninja Gaiden 3 Multiplayer Trailer

When we first heard about multiplayer in Ninja Gaiden 3, we were understandably skeptical. Well, upon viewing this trailer Team Ninja may have created something that doesn't suck after all.

Multiplayer keeps getting added to every game imaginable, whether it belongs or not. It's a good way to prolong the life of a game if you can get a community to flock to it. Unfortunately, this has led to seom really, really bad multiplayer modes in games that have no place even having one. I thought such may be the case with Ninja Gaiden 3 when it was announced a few weeks ago.

Upon viewing this trailer (see it here), however, this thing may have a chance. It's an objective-based mode, apparently, that features 4v4 Clan Battles. You can fire arrows from rooftops, hurl magical black hole fireball-things, or just get in the mix and slice and dice.

You can also commit harikari if things get too grim for you.

Ninja Gaiden 3 will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 20th.
