New RE: Operation Raccoon City Trailer...Yes!

The newest Resident Evil game is slowly creeping towards its release date, and the latest CG trailer finally has us really interested.

I've been a fan of Resident Evil since the first one back in '96, but my interest kind of tapered off in recent years. The games have kind of been all over the place and many have abandoned survival horror in favor of the high action from the movie adaptations.

While Operation Raccoon City is not returning to those survival horror roots, it does look exciting in the new CG trailer. See it here.

Operation Raccoon City puts you in control of a member of Umbrella's Security Service. The USS is in charge of cleaning up Umbrella's messes, which means you're a bad guy. You'll have to fight against the zombies and BOWs (Bio-Organic Weapons, i.e. monsters), plus the Spec Ops team featured in the trailer who are trying to save the city's citizens.

On top of that, you'll come up against the heroes of the previous Resident Evil games and it's also been said that you'll be able to control the BOW monsters at certain points in the game. 

There will also be multiplayer co-op and you'll finally be able to walk and shoot at the same time in this game, which is a first in the Resident Evil franchise.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be released in March.
