Final Fantasy XIII-2 isn't due out in the US and UK until late January/early February, and the anticipation is building with each new trailer that comes out. This new trailer only whets our appetites even more.
FF XIII-2's latest trailer gives you a very detailed walkthrough of what sorts of powers and abilites you'll have to play with. It goes into the Historia Crux and how you'll be able to hop around in time to redo fights and missions to change the future/present, the Paradigm and ATB features, as well as how monster recruitment works. Plus there's what looks like a giant D20 floating around, so that's cool.
Of course, no Final Fantasy trailer would be complete without a chance to look at all the pretty stuff, which is what Square Enix does best. You'll have huge landscapes to explore in FF XIII-2, and it looks like every square inch of it will be breathtaking. There will be plenty of well-crafted NPCs to interact with and of course all your powers and abilities have spectacular visual effects as well.
Are you looking forward to Final Fantasy XIII-2?

XIII 2? really?

I'll look forward to it if they announce that:
1) You can control more than 1 character directly
2) There are actual wide open areas ("multiple paths" sounds like more hallways, just that they go elsewhere)
From watching a battle video, I don't think the battle controls have changed much. Then again it was in Japanese, so I couldn't tell what was going on other than the fact the camera was centred on only one character per battle.

Seems they have taken a page out of Radiant Historias book about the passage of time. and being able to go back and forth through time to change things.
