Netflix Hits UK PlayStations

Up until recently many folks in the United Kingdom werent particularly aware of Netflix; however that is soon about to change...The Netflix app has started appearing on various PlayStations all over the UK as a result of the early 2012 announcement of the app. For those of you that dont know, Netflix is a streaming service similar to every other streaming application you have on your PlayStation 3 system, however this is slightly different. To begin with it is considered to be somewhat better than its competitors, for a small monthly fee you will be able to stream 1000s of TV shows and movies rather than just one or the other. The app is simple to use and set up , as well as this it only requires a small 13MB download so even those with poor internet connection and can download Netflix within an acceptable time. The app has been slightly adjusted for UK users, this is because it needs to show more British shows and movies, as a result of this Netflix has struck deals with major companies such as BBC Worldwide and Lionsgate UK. There going to a new market why? you may ask its cuz there being greedy ass's. Made a 60% incrase in sales 60!!! can you belive that?! I have to admet, when Netflix was still a young company i decided to try them out used my free 30 day memebership and i realy did like there service i was paying 16.95 USD for unlimited movie streaming to my laptop and i got 3 DVD's in the mail sent to me by one business day there mail them monday i'll get them wednesday and there collection of anime was nice its why i started it. I loved there anime collection. After there price hike ALOT of ppl stoped there membership and went to red box or blockbuster. So to all the U.K ppl out there you shouldnt join them intel they lower the damn price's again its BS to get the same service as i was befoe or 16$ its now 25$ a month. I can understand going up over time cuz of price's increase's but that much in one shot? o,0 They had a big market and getting 10$ more from just half of them is a ton of money.

not sure where your getting your nubmers from bud, but Netflix is 8USD a month according to friends of mine who have it,...it became available in ireland as of today, and its only 6.99 a month so im not sure where exactly your getting your numbers from?, maybe the dvd mailing system in US costs that much? im not sure, but i know for online streaming its still below 10 bucks a month

Yea it is only 8.99 for streaming only but some people just want the disc but yea the price hike for the physcal disc option is because USPS rates have almost doubled.....
