More Maintenance For PSN

As someone that owns an Xbox 360 and a PlayStation 3 I can honestly sit here and say, in my opinion, that the PlayStation is a better console. I enjoy the exclusives more and the overall experience just seems better. However that is my opinion, but Ill tell you what is a fact. Xbox Live is better than the PlayStation Network, it doesnt come much simpler than that. Microsoft seems to have a much better control over their online services, with minimal delays and down time for maintenance. Which brings me to my next point... once again PlayStation users will have to suffer through another period of increasingly frustrating maintenance time. Sony has told users that their online services will be down from 2:00pm GMT on Thursday and will cease to resume until 8:00am the following day. The worst part about this is I fail to see change whenever Im left without my online gameplay, if it is simply just to check that everything is okay, then surely Sony would understand this from the lack of complaints for once. Let me know your thoughts.
