Modern Warfare 3 Leaked!

Pirated copies of Activision's biggest up and coming release are rapidly spreading across the United States. One of the worlds biggest FPS titles has been leaked directly from its shipping warehouse in California, according to VentureBeat the second disc of the PC version was stolen by an employee before being leaked online. Why the employee would only steal one disc remains forever a secret but a sensible assumption would be security or panic. The most interesting part of this breaking news is that Activision hasnt required the assistant of the law, well within reason. You see, apparently Activision are chasing down those that have gained access to a pirated copies and turning up at their doorsteps and demanding they delete the copies or receive a $5,000 ban and a life long online ban. Bad news continues to role out for the big time developers, as Modern Warfare 3 isnt the first big title to suffer an online leak, others include Battlefield 3 and Batman: Arkham City. my thoughts are when will this be copied and on thepiratebay. im still buying it for ps3 and will never use it on pc again after i buy the ps3 one. im just so anxious to play it!!

It won't take but a day or two before showing up on people's doorsteps is no longer feasible. Activision needs to put its big girl panties on and learn to accept its loss.


I haven't played it or anything, I'm just saying that this type of thing happens on a regular basis. They need to be more concerned with their hiring process and less concerned with pirates who wouldn't have had it without Activision's cooperation to begin with.

I wouldn't even play a pirated PC version after the crap that was MW2 (PC)
