Lightning Returns!

With the huge cliff-hanger left at the end of Final Fantasy XIII-2, it was inevitable that another addition to the series would be created, however I wasn't expecting any real developments so soon.

 

 

Final Fantasy XIII-2 was released in the early stages of 2012, and with the year coming to an end, Square Enix have given us something to look forward to in 2013, with the return of Lightning as our protagonist. Although it looks to follow a similar system that its predecessors did, XIII-3 or “Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns” looks to have some improvements in it's general gameplay and battle system.

 

As well as this, the story has taken more of a dark turn and is heading down a path that many would have hoped for earlier in the trilogy. Even so, I reiterate my point. I look forward to its release and hope it can bring the expectations we know Square Enix are capable of delivering.     Let me know your thoughts.
