Final Fantasy XIII Versus: The Real Deal

So far the XIII series has been quite the disappointment for fans, although I havent disliked them at all, many dont agree with me. This addition to the series however is completely different; in fact it is debatable whether it should be considered to be in the same faction as XIII and XIII-2. Yes its true; I havent had any experience playing versus, and this is the same as everyone else, but it does look absolutely brilliant. This the sort of brilliance that people loved in the early games like VII, VIII and Kingdom Hearts. From the footage, photos and interviews I have read, I dont think there is one area of the game that I could possibly complain about. Lets break it down; weve got the main character Noctis and his companions, Noctis has all the old bi-polar, mysterious and fucked up characteristics that made the names Cloud and Squall, and after all, this is an important part of Final Fantasy games. The battle system looks like pure class, the perfect blend of a party fighting system mixed with Kingdom Hearts style button bashing. Strategy and madness finally meet to make a great battling experience, not only this but the game maintains its graphical quality during these times.
