BioWare has caught a lot of flak over many things in Mass Effect 3. This time, they can point the finger at someone else for a change.
Xbox 360 and PC users have been having a blast with the Mass Effect 3 weekend events. There are challenges and awards such as extra XP and equipment packs to be had.
Unfortunately, PS3 users have been left out in the cold, unable to engage in such events.
Well, EA says you should blame Sony.
On the BioWare blog, EA community manager explained, "Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer our Multiplayer Challenge weekends on PlayStation 3. Sony has not yet approved the promotion. We continue to work with them to find a compromise, but until then, Sony will not allow us to run the same Multiplayer Challenges on the PlayStation 3 that we run on Xbox 360 and PC."
What a bummer.

Step it up Sony or you're going to lose customers. Even though their network is free to use, I would think they would jump all over the opportunity to allow some multiplayer variety. What's it costing them?
