I don't know what the heck is going on, but I like it.
It's hard to tell what exactly is going on in the new story trailer for Capcom's Dragon's Dogma, but it sure looks good. It takes the hyper-realism approach of Skyrim instead of the cartoony, World of Warcraft look of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, which is a good thing in my book.
The story revolves around some kid that has his heart torn out by a dragon, but survives as some sort of chosen one kept alive by some mystical process no doubt involving said dragon. Anyone seen Dragonheart?
All that is known about the game is that it is third-person and class-based. The class you'll get to choose from are Mage, Fighter, Strider, Warrior, Ranger, Sorceror, Magick Archer, Assassin, and Mystic Knight.
Oh, and the game will come packed with a demo for Resident Evil 6. That alone should be enough to get a whole lot of people to check it out.
Dragon's Dogma will be out on May 22nd in North America.
