Could The End of True Blue be in Sight?

So True Blue got a fancy new sticker to help protect their dongle, and reassure their customers about the authenticity of their True Blue dongle… good luck.
Naehrwert and oct0xor have been working hard to decrypt the True Blue payload and have made some god head way in understanding how it works and who knows it could even lead to the end of the dongle wars if a software version can be achieved through the complete decryption of the True Blue payload. I managed to catch up to Naehrwert to ask him quickly about his part in this project and what he is hoping to achieve, this is what he said.

So there you have it, the end could be nigh for the guys in the True Blue camp and you know what I wouldnt shed a tear. Tell us what you think, would you care if True Blue went belly up? Or would you rather it be another company or group?

Finally someone thought to see what these people from TB work, why they can run games for CFW 3.6+ and nobody else. Maybe dongle is only confirmation for their cfw, to their cfw know if you pay for it.

Considering I blame True Blue for the lack of any other way of playing backups without a dongle, I'll be glad when we finally eliminate dongles completely.

Say what you want but trueblue is really very userful. How else could we play all these games. I think it's worth 40 dollars and should not go out of business

Agreed. I hate it when companies take advantage of the Jailbreak community (devs and users alike). It just makes it worse knowing that they actually make money off of it.

tb works, evolution of mods, hacks you always have dish out moola to reep the benifits.
ps1 chip,ps2 chip or swap disc, dream cast just burn away, ps3 goehot, opened the door then dongle one, then cfw.back to dongle 2 then sony updates. true blue comes and saves the day one last time and were mad..
Lets not blame any one else other than sony who created companies like tb.
I want anything dongle or cfw,ofw to run whatever i want home brews, back up games, br dumps and installing linux.
Make it all possible any team anyone if its tb or devs just allow access without limits.

I agree TB and the whole pay for piracy thing is bull. But, and this is a BIG BUT!! TB has been able to keep their method a secret. If and when this gets figured out, the method will be revealed and SONY will patch it. Then we are all screwed.

i have been using TB for the past 6 months and i sure am glad that the dongle was made. well it costs a bit to buy the dongle but its much cheaper than paying 60$ per game.!!!!
