I'm glad to tell you all today that there is an update to the Showtime test build bringing it to v3.5.176. Remember this is the test build and is not as stable as the official build v3.4 but if you want to stay on the cutting edge of this awesome media player than give it a shot.
Change Log:
3.5.175-g1f7c531
Add support for continuous playback of all video items in a directory
This needs to be enabled in the video playback settings (default off)
Fixes #501
Fixed #530
Fixes #864
Fixes #875
3.5.171-gf1b3001

These logfiles can be obtained from
ip.address.of.showtimebox:42000/showtime/diag
3.5.134-g7d1f686
ps3: Switch memory allocator to TLSF
This is another attempt to fix the out of memory issues that has
been plauging Showtime for quite some while.
So far it looks much better than when using jemalloc
I've been using showtime for the majority of my video playback since it was tied in to Multiman because well, its better than what Sony offers out of the box. It gives us MKV, AVI, MP4 and just about everything else you can think of and offers things like subtitles and audio adjustments for when you are just a little out of sync. I know I'll be downloading this. The only thing I would like to see implemented is to be able to delete videos from my directory. What do you want to see in the future?
