multiMAN 04.16.00 Released: RAS & Showtime Updates

Arguably, deank has ought to be one of the most prevalent developers for the PS3 this year, never failing to amaze the gamers and sceners out there. Update after update, there is always something good going into multiMAN. This release is no exception as version 04.16.00 comes in. This version is a full package with improvements to the Remote Access Service as well as other updates. Check out the changelog:

 

  • Improved quality and speed of remote access screen rendering. Depending on server PS3 resolution the image is rendered as follows:
    • 1920x1080 -> 960x720, 1280x720 -> 960x720, 720x480 -> 720x480, 720x576 -> 720x576 (all with PAR 16:9)
  • Added support for new functions in mmRAS
  • When using remote access to another PS3 both must be on mM 04.16.00
  • Added new lines in translation files
  • Added new linux (x86) version of ps3netsrv
  • Updated Showtime (for mM and standalone) to 4.1.307
  • Fixed a bug preventing mM from fixing 80010009 error

 

You can update to the latest version using the integrated updater for whichever version of multiMAN that you use (CEX/DEX/STEALTH) or you can download and install the package manually. Remember that version 04.14.00 or later needs to be installed before this one is installed.

Not quite sure why it's a "full" version but requires an older version to be installed first. I'm already good to go but still...

It's not a "BASE" release in the traditional sense. It just includes all of the update packages. I'm sure somewhere along the line, deank will make a full package for a newer version.

You know, I don't have all day to update MultiMAN... It seems like there's a new version released DAILY. I don't update until major required BASE versions are released now. Who has time to *constantly* keep updating MultiMAN like this? o.o
