True Blue Dongle Firmware v2.61 Released - Just Like They Said

That was rather quick. True Blue comes through and releases what was originally their v2.6 firmware. What tools has the team decided to make compatible with the firmware? Let's find out.

The 2.61 firmware fixes the freezing issues that users were experiencing as well as the disappearing PSN and DLC content installed via ReactPSN. Like intended, True Blue's very own firmware spoofer has been added, so others such as REBUG's will not work with this firmware. Of course, there are the usual game compatibility updates that were packed as well.

For those using other spoofers, do you welcome True Blue's firmware spoofer or would rather stick to what you was using, such as REBUG?

so does this mean that some of the new games like Resident Evil Operation Racoon City will be playable now? What does the "game compatibility updates" usually entail?

it entails exactly as it says, games that have had compatibility issues have now been fixed.

 

what it means is you still have to wait for them to patch what games can be done, it doesnt nor has it ever ment that every game will be hacked for dirty piraters to pirate the game.

 

if you want to play Resident Evil Operation Racoon City, then go out and buy the F-ing game, not expect somone to hack it for you to downoad and play for free.

I seem to be having issues, after updating to 2.61, with booting with TB inserted. Anyone else having this issue?                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Edit: Sherlock Holmse'd the issue. Turns out, if you're already using REBUG's 4.00 Firmware Spoofer, you need to deactivate+unin stal it in order to successfully update to 2.61 TB. Since 2.61 has a spoofer, it clashes with REBUG's and won't properly boot.

I need help. I was on 2.50 then tried to update to 2.61 and it updated successfully but when it tried to restart it just froze on a black screen. I tried a couple more times with no success. So then i tried the 2.51 dongle update which works perfectly and restarts like it supposed to. So i think i the problem maybe that i have spoofer but i dont know if i do as this ps3 belonged to someone else, and i only got it recently.

How do i find out if i have spoofer and uninstall it?

Im on version 9.99, True Blue v2.51 if that helps.
