Last time we heard of a knockoff console coming from China, it was the iGame which was based from the Xbox 360. Now, they're pushing something a little more interesting off the PS3, dubbed the CT510.
The CT510 is a console manufactured by Eeedoo and being backed by Lenovo. Lenovo is a known manufacturer in the PC department, so maybe the CT510 isn't a waste of time or money at all. The specs look promising as well. The CT510 is packing a dual core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, 2 gigs of DDR3 RAM, a graphics card capable of 3D graphics and a motion sensor to take advantage. Other goodies include WiFi, a card reader, 250 gigs of hard drive space and 5 USB ports.
It's a decent setup alright. How much would it cost to get one of these bad boys? $600 Is it worth getting it? Being that the console was just released today, we will have to wait for the reviews to pour in. Regardless, I would rather invest my money into a gaming rig of sorts.

The entire lifetime of the product completely relies on the support of delevopers. If this is a system which handles known development languages and rendering environments, the porting community will be all over it. However, based on Lenovo's closed-source approach to their proprietary software, there will be, likely, limited support and limited porting on this system. That being said, I, as a porter, will be watching this system as the days pass.

I don't think it's going to even appear on the actual scenario. Even for the PS3 things are hard (having such Microsoft issue on its tail), it's just crawling on a snakes nest...
