Server Mapper v1.11 Released - Play on Retail PSN Servers Again

So those PSN dev. servers aren't that happening, huh? Well here comes a means to accessing and playing on retail/production PSN, and it's said to work with most, if not all PS3 games. So first get Rebugged and follow this quick tutorial: By Rebugged I mean install Rebug CFW 3.55.1 -- go here to get that. Next do this:

Set PSN to Dev. mode by going to Debug Settings -> NP Environment and change that to "sp-int"
Run Cex Dex Rebug selector (under Package Manager) and set it to REBUG MODE
Note: You may need to set "sp-int" again
Create a new account on dev. PSN using the same PSN ID as your original/regular/retail/production one
Set the Primary DNS to the IP address of your Windows PC and use 8.8.8.8 as a secondary server

Now on your PC load up Server Mapper and enter the dev. addresses mapping them to production addresses. Here is a list to get you started: Call of duty: World at War

cod5-ps3-dev.lsg.mmp3.demonware.net --> cod5-ps3-live.lsg.mmp3.demonware.net

In addition to that, d0zs also shares a tool for easily finding PSN server addresses specific to whatever game. Again it's for Windows only and what you do is this: Load "EbootServerRetriever" up, browse and select an EBOOT.BIN or .SELF file of any game and press "Retrieve Server List" -- it'll rip through the EBOOT looking for server strings. Save 'em, plug 'em into Server Mapper and you're on PSN again. Cool, huh? Someone'll probably simplify the whole process sooner or later. maybe doing this will allow to recover your old online stats for some games but in pes2011 it says that user already exists when i try to go in master league online. any chance transfering my ML online data to the new account to get it to load???

All the links for the download provided on the rebug.me site have been removed so i have nowhere to download this from can anybody post a working link or send me one to adilicious5@hotmail.com
I would ask this on the rebug.me site but the comments there have been disabled. Also i tried searching on google but since rebug.me is so adamant about not letting anybody else link their files on other sites (nothing wrong with that) i can't find a working link anywhere.

Your new account will be returning a different checksum. That's just my assumption of how their servers are setup, but seems reasonable.

In short, as your old user data is saved on servers that you don't have remote access to, no, you can't. They hold your information, not the other way round. You can't transfer a saved file, all that can be done is for you to trick their servers into thinking that you're the original >INSERT USERNAME HERE<.

There might be methods out shortly to achieve this however, so don't lose hope... Or just a regular PSN tool may be out soon.

Ermm if youre on 3.55 you only need the CFW firmware and upgrade via USB. No need for jailbreak chips. If youre on 3.56+ then you can't do nothing for now.

Thank you to the dev's for this.It's nice to play online again.As for the Geohot outcome...I have to admit that I'm feeling let down by the whole thing.I thought he was going to fight for all of our rights.I also thought that he wouldn't take a settlement without the return of the 'OtherOs' feature and an apology from Sony.I think alot of people donated on those premises which were fed by George himself...but according to what I've been reading online...he is apparently helping Sony in their fight against piracy...is that why I've read of hackers saying George took a job at Sony to make the PS3 and future consoles unhackable?I don't want to jump the gun...but all this doesn't look good for George and I have to wonder..."what was it all for?"

But to the Dev's whose honor is unquestionable...Thanks for everything!!I have a PS3 that truly 'Does everything',as the box it came in says...and I love it!

I think Chris's comment was rather silly, but how on earth are trophies way better than achievements? Everything about achievements is instantaneous. With trophies, it takes a few seconds to pop up with the message, and to load your list of trophies takes quite a long time. Aside from trophies being slower in general, they're the same thing. If you like trophies, you have achievements to thank for them, so don't be such a fanboy.

on usb device create a folder in root called PS3, inside of the PS3 folder create another folder named UPDATE, inside of the UPDATE folder place 3.55 rebug. make sure you rename the file to PS3UPDAT.PUP make everything in capitals and no there is not an e on the pup file everything is spelled correctly. Also, b4 you install make sure that you remove any spoof that you have so your system information reads 3.55 or it will think that you are on a new firmware and won't do the update and after you install the rebug do not spoof the system it will remove the debug folder

tested this from its official release and it works fine. i've only played black ops and modern warfare2 so far and i've managed to get back my stats from my old psn account and you do play with actual psn players you just can't add them as friends unless its someone on the dev-psn like u

use "sign up" and not "quick sign up" then after you've put in your email of choice and other info and it asks you to chyour gamer ID just use your old psn ID like eg. mine is oraine169 so i just put the same thing but so far only CODs give back ur old stats

after the other steps click the quick sing up then register then log in ~> u have psn go to the computer map the game u want to play and then head to the ps3 sing in to the psn and then enter the game once in play as normally u don't have friends nor anything if you sing up with your previous account name you'll retrive your prevous psn stats

the rebug team asked ppl in a very diplomatic manner to not hotlink their firmware

they specifically ask people to go to rebug.me and get it from there.
if you don't have the mental capacity to download the list of links from their site, wtf are you going to do with rebug anyway.
