Remote Play Patch for non-Vaio PCs Running Windows 7

A straight blast from the past... You know the Remote Play feature of your PS3? Better yet, remember Open Remote Play? Yeah those were the days... Anyway, here today a new patch has surfaced that'll get the latest version of Remote Play, for VAIO PC's, working on your non-VAIO computer running Windows 7. We've seen similar patches before, like this and this, but those are for older versions of VAIO<->PS3 Remote Play and require some extra steps. This be the latest and easiest patch. For reals. Patch Instructions
  1. copy rmp_launcher.exe & rmp_dll.dll to your "Remote Play with PlayStation 3"-Installation where VRP.exe lies
  2. run rmp_launcher.exe and continue Steps

  • Life with PlayStation (PSN software)
  • Mainichi Issho (PSN game)
  • Misato Katsuragis Reporting Plan (PSN game)
  • Peggle (PSN game)
  • Peggle Nights (PSN game add-on)
  • PixelJunk Eden (PSN game/demo)

its pretty straightforward ... install the vaio app, run the patch and follow the instructions.

I've got the remote play to connect just fine. But I can't play any of the ps1 classics I've got downloaded. I'm using a Dell Inspiron Laptop. Can you not play any games using this remote play?

hi guys i have a problem ; i start rmp_laucher.exe i do continue whit steps when i try to register after i write the number exe gives me stopped working error. how can i fix this error?
