PSGroove Rockbox PL3 & Hermes v4 Ports for Various Devices

By way of fl0PPsy and DanyL comes PSGroove compiled against PL3 and Hermes v4 for Rockbox devices. Download the archive, find your device, rename the appropriate Rockbox file, i.e. "rockbox_mini_1g.ipod" becomes "rockbox.ipod." And providing you have Rockbox already installed, just overwrite the original file and you're set. Try both PL3 and Hermes v4, you may find better compatibility with one over the other. Supported devices include:
  • GigabeatS
  • GoGear HD 1630 - 1830, 6330, and 9200
  • iRiver H10 and H10 5G
  • iPod Mini 1G & 2G
  • iPod Video 5G
  • iPod Photo 4G
  • M-Robe 100
  • Sansa c200 v1 and e200

I tried both payloads (pl3 and hermes v4) none seem to work successfully.
i have an ipod 5g and with pl3 it doesn't even jailbreak, with hermes v4 it does jailbreak but i'm getting an error message 8001003e when booting up the games.
Does anyone have the same issues?

Ive read several reports of the same thing happening. I believe the payload is buggy. I would stick with V3. Seems to have most the needed features until this one is repaired.

Are all the people here reporting problems actually using Gaia Manager & selecting direct boot mode? That's what worked for me using the PL3 payload.

I have Hermes 4b on my Sansa C240. I replace the rockbox.mi4 file in the rockbox folder with the sansa c240 PL3 .mi4 from this zip package and when i boot rockbox, the rockbox splash screen pops up but then the screen goes black.

If i put the hermes 4b rockbox.mi4 back in the rockbox folder and reboot then rockbox boots normally and i can jailbreak. Any ideas why PL3 rockbox.mi4 is not working?
