PS3DJB v2.5 Released: Jailbreak & Downgrade with an HTC HD2

I have updated the app to 2.5.1.

Version 2.5.1
*added my custom data.img (57mb) to jailbreak rom. Should save a lot more space on the storage card and boot faster. My boot took 1 min 37 sec which was faster than the 1GB data.img created on first boot.

I have also added a new language to the list. Spanish for Esp roms (non WWE).

I have also completed PS3DJB Multi. It only support 800x480 screen phones like TP2. im working on fixing that for diamond and TP. should have it up and ready before christmas

how console will react on this downgrade?

I honestly dont know but i do know that blu ray is left in tact (ive downgraded my slim) on all slim models, so you could downgrade to 3.15 to get otheros back, if you really want it

I ask it because 2.7x is initial firmware for 120 & 250 GB Slim models. Very interesting how Slim works with old firmwares that dont support Slim...

well try it dubsta you think you now all slagging of gorgo and other people so try it then cause you are scared shit it will brick your ps3 so best bet guys is get yourself an ecard reader to be on your safe side also if you dont want to do it then dont slag of other devs wait for the all clear and if still not sure try other sites for info.the other thing is that i now is devs are working overtime trying to fix blueray issues that fail on some 40gb and 60gb and 80gb ps3 .

Alright so I bought an HD2 with a cracked screen yesterday and tried this out. I got to the part where I installed both of the .CAB files. When I tried to launch the psdowngrader it restarted my phone as if it were booting into Android except the HTC logo was there for WAY too long. After about 5 minutes I realized it was frozen and wasn't going anywhere so I pulled out the battery to restart and that's when all hell broke loose!

First the phone would restart itself just after booting up from the Tmobile screen and then gradually it would start dying earlier and earlier until it wouldn't turn on anymore. It won't even charge now at all.

I'm not sure if I attempted to launch the software correctly or not but just letting everyone out there know to be careful. The instructions on that link aren't very clear in terms of the steps. I'm also an iPhone person to begin with so working my way around an Android phone was a little new to me too.

it works fine and many people at XDA have used the app successfully. Please go to the XDA thread for support as i visit it the most. You will need to hard SPL your phone. here is a link to do so. http://forum.xda-developers.co...
I stress to everyone please read first. if you have questions ask. i also help people via skype to get everything working if they are having issues beyond there comprehension. but before contacting me on skype please read. I dont have much time and the more time i have to take away from development will affect me from making the app better.
