PS3 Metldr Exploit Leaked

It's like finding the Golden Key in the Caramilk bar... Will it lead to bigger and better things? Maybe... just maybe. Earlier this morning ps3crunch received an attachment that looks to be a "metldr" exploit for PS3 written in C. Now obviously it won't serve me and you (jailbreak users) any real purpose right now, but for the hackers and developers, it's another story. This could be the key that fully unlocks the PS3 in its current state. Feel free to download the attachment below -- if you know what you're doing then have at it! The code apparently exploits the "chain of trust" and dumps an unencrypted copy of your PS3's metldr, which is the main piece to the puzzle. If we can extract the keys from that dump we're laughing ... and Sony's crying. - source: ps3crunch

Great news......Its getting closer. Bet we have a exploit by 11/11/11 lol. Or soon there after. I'm gonna dl it to have a look through it. Should be interesting.
