ProgSkeet Gets Updates With Pinout

I'll be the first to admit that I don't have a whole lot of experience with the hardware aspect of the PS3, but the fact that I know what ProgSkeet is and does should say enough about this project. It's a hardware device that gives OFW PS3 users like me another option should we choose to use it. Not to mention the countless bricks that it has probably saved those in the development sector from. Now with three separate ProgSkeet variations on the market today, the team behind the device look to update it today with intention to match capability.

About two months ago, the team announced that ProgSkeet 1.2 would be hitting the market with a more compact design and added features such as WINSKEET and DLL OPEN support to add on to the already stellar feature set. Essentially it worked in a technical way to flash our PS3s in a  safer way, which is a good thing for all of us. These updates released today are for all device versions, but they more or less suit up your 1.0 and 1.1 hardware to be capable of all that 1.2 goodness without having to buy something new. Additionally, a new Pinout update has also been released for those electing to use those new 1.2 style bitstreams.
