It is truly a sad thing to come to grips with the fact that Mass Effect 3 will indeed be the final chapter in the series' trilogy of games, but something that might take the sting away from that injury just might be a whole bunch of DLC. Thankfully due to a release by propJOE with help from EXEtrimall among others, even CFW users can get their fix.

Following up on the recent patched EBOOT releases comes an additional eight games now playable on custom firmware 3.55. At this rate just about all True Blue games will be playable on our beloved custom firmware PlayStation 3 consoles.

Most of the time when we hear about decryptions in the PS3 scene, it is likely that were probably talking about firmware dumping that allows us to play all of those great homrbrew titles. Still, theres a lot more hiding underneath the hood of the console that has yet to be tapped into.

Looks as if the scene is starting to heat up again, with patches being released left and right. More and more groups are getting their foot out (or in) the door, to do the work of providing DRM-free patches for the masses to enjoy.

The Cobra team is at it again and release an update to multiMAN Cobra Manager. This release allows you to download game updates requiring firmware 3.60, which will need patching before installing.

PsDev has decrypted the Core_OS files of firmware 3.60 using the latest release of the leaked 3.60 keys. Do we see a newer custom firmware on the horizon? Don't ask me, it's up to the developers...
