"ONE" Update, Game Saves Working

Submitted by greg; November 13, 2011

CrashSerious has released an update to his ONE app, which lets you play any PS1/PSX/PSOne disc on your hacked PS3. Most notably this version fixes game saves and also introduces support for modified 3.15 firmware versions. ONE is for anyone not using multiMAN but still wishes to jam their old collection of PSX games ... from disc.
Simply, it updates memory card support and works on the following systems: 3.55 MFW Retail/CEX 3.41 MFW Retail/CEX 3.15 MFW Retail/CEX 3.55 MFW Debug/DEX 3.41 MFW Debug/DEX 3.15 MFW Debug/DEX (Note: one uses "state of the art" firmware detection to apply patches needed, spoofing simply can not fool it.) Now not only do memory cards work... but those of you who are on MFW 3.15 can use it too. We told you we didn't believe people should go without features!
You can vote for CrashSerious and ONE at the source... He deserves it, especially if you're making use of ONE. Download: ONE - source: psx-scene

I have a quick question about the ONE application. Does this work on ANY hacked PS3 or only the hacked PS3's that are backwards compatible?

ALL PS3 consoles are able to play PSX games, only backwards compatible systems can play PS2 and PSX games.

This piece of homebrew allows you to run burned disk backups of PSX games, which no console can do without it.

You can do this in Multiman, but the point is to be able to have the feature without using Multiman if you so wish.

Hope that clears things up for you. =)

Hey,

Thanks a lot for clearing this all up!! I have so many burned PS1 games I collected from the U.A.E during my time in the military (some good, some mostly junk, lol). Time to dust them off and give'em another try!!

I still can't get my Tales of Destiny disc to work. NTSC USA version on a USA NTSC 40GB (FAT) PS3 with 3.55 Rebug CFW, and this "One" app. Anything I'm doing wrong? "You Don't Know Jack vol 1" also refuses to boot. Both games boot up and play fine on my PSP and PS1 (Using Gameshark as a bootdisc).

Try booting it via Multiman, if that doesn't work, try another image. If that doesn't work, report the issue to the developer.=)

Multiman won't boot it either, and I've tried 3 different images on 4 types of CD-R. I think it might not be compatible at all. It's file and folder structure seems a bit odd compared to most PSX games. I've even booted Breaker Pro and a gameshark, and neither one of those will launch it either. :/

Apenas congela.

Grato.
