Logging into PSN with REBUG 3.55.2

So another means to accessing [the new] PSN on your 3.55 hacked console has been written into the wild; mind you, peeps are reporting that you can only log into PSN -- no online play or store access -- which would, to me, make it pretty much useless. I also wouldn't recommend doing this because who knows what Sony is doing ... or watching. But anyway, if you care to experiment, read on... We don't encourage you to do this -- but you're your own master. First you need REBUG 3.55.2 and the latest update package. After that you need to QA Flag your PS3, set "NP Environment" (under Debug Settings) to "rc" and then, in an act of exhibitionism, create a new PSN account using the quick signup. You're probably putting yourself at risk here ... and Sony will probably patch/fix this soon ... not to mention (again) that there is [currently] no online play or store access. And if you're really curious about PlayStation Network "Environments" you can find a full list right here. Anyway, that's that... Now I know things've tapered off here in the PS3 scene, rest assure though, hackers are hacking and the developers are developing. I for one look forward to an open-sourced version of the Cobra USB dongle, which plenty of devs. have their hands on ... they're gettin' close. - source: ps3news

i might be onto something here sign into the rc server then in charles goto: proxy settings, click the ssl tab and add a0.ww.rc.dl.playstation.net then in port put 443 next in reverse proxy add local port 443 remote host a0.ww.rc.dl.playstation.net remote port 443 then in rewrite settings change protocol to https then a0.ww.rc.dl.playstation.net now this is the key underneath in rules press add then change type to url in the top value add a0.ww.rc.dl.playstation.net/tp... then in the bottom put a0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/tp... then boot a game i tried world at war it will donwload the update but i still get error connecting to matchmaking server. maybe on the right track though..

No, have you installed the rebug software update, then install and run rebug selector 1.6 press L1 + circle (or whatever) to set ps3 into debug mode then run 3.66 vesion spoofer?

ok people i have the 3.55.2 rebug cfw(not the one that encluds the other os)
can i just install the flaging tool.pkg on this CFW without bricking the PS3 or do i have to install the REBUG3.55.2+OTHER OS version?

Boom chlakalaka. How long have we been waiting for this? How long have we been using the PS3 only for games? How long have we been thinking of how Sony is evil? We should thank the rebug team for all their generosity for giving us spoofers, custom firmwares, and debug settings to get all possible ways of going online. They are at least trying. I mean, look at the title of this post! "Logging into PSN with REBUG 3.55.2". When was the last time we saw "logging into psn"? Yeah, it was when they made their first custom firmware with the dev servers, which REBUG gave us! They are still trying.

banned for what reason? was it a console ban or just a account ban.. i was on custom firmware syncing trophies right until the day sony stopped us and my accounts fine

I would have to agree with those of you who don't see much point to this.If it leads to something down the road...great,but with all the people attempting to sign in this way,Sony will plug the leak...and any use we could get from this will be gone.
