Downgrade with your TI-84 Plus or TI-89 Titanium Calculator!

Brandon pulls through releasing his PSGroove and now PSGrade port for TI-84 Plus and TI-89 Titanium calculators. Enable PSGrade (Factory/Service) mode by selecting yes under "Emulate jig" in the options. After that follow these instructions or watch this video. Just assume "E3 Card Reader" is your TI calculator. Download PSGroove & PSGrade: PS3JB v0.08 for TI-84 Plus PS3JB89 v0.02 for TI-89 Titanium - source: ps3jb | ps3jb89

The risks are not really known, to be honest.
There so far has not been a problem with using the PS3 in Jailbreak mode in a sustained amount of time.
The only thing ive really experienced is when it freezes.
Be it trying a game I didnt know was unsupported, loading the wrong payload,.....freezes happen....
The problem with the freeze isnt big, but from what I hear and experienced. The more freezes you get will lead to corrupted Hard drive(possible) Had a buddy have this problem,and ive read from others this was there problem as well.but if it does happen you can fix it with a format of the hard drive.

For me a good solution is psjailbreak2.
I had a ps3brek v1(awfull update suport)
A ps3key with tape problem witch I couldn't fix and it needs enough time for the sign in the site, the update and the open firmware installation.
Psjailbreak2 is not original psjailbreak but it easyly loads update firmware,open firmware or downgrade firmware with one exe aplication and it's always early updated.

wow, why the heck didn't I think about that. I just want to update to 3.50 to play one game and try to use the hack they have to get on the psn and get something.

I rather switch my harddrive as I have the 40 gig which it came with and a 500 gig which I got myself.

I also wonder, does the hex file help with the blu-ray. I don't use it, but with me when something isn't used by me and than it breaks, I end up needing it somehow.

Yo i just got real far in my fallout game and i had extra save on usb but i have to rebuild database due to corrupted files got that working good and i wont update cuz don't want 3.55 now i cant save anymore or unlock stuff any help if i jailbreak will this fit it? cuz my chip will be here soon

Was successfully able to downgrade to the modified 3.41, but i was already at that. So I tried to go to 3.15, and every time it would just flash the power light on then i looked at the log file and i noticed that it failed, no clue. But still no hope of otheros

What would happen if i opened the 3.55 firmware in a hex editor and copied all the hex string from the 3.55 firmware to a 3.41 firmware??? So when I update It will see it as 3.55 but it is really 3.41. Just want to know if that works cause I already bought ps jailbreak and I did that hex copying so the answer better be YES :) :)

ruinairas tweeted on twitter that he was able to load modifed firmware using gpup 3.1 to unpack 3.41 debug firmware and replacing the update.tar with any previous or newer firmware. I tested it and verify it. although he recently tweeted he bricked his console. DO NOT EDIT FILES using 7zip. It will load it, but you will most likely end up fully bricked.

Hello guys,

just got a question and i hope somebody will answer it.
I just downgraded my ps3 from 3.50 to 3.41 succesfully and have jailbroken it with the ti84. It works perfect.
But i was wondering i am playing now on my ps3 account wich is connected when you go online but i have 2 ps3's if i go online with the same acount on a non jailbroken ps3 will sony know it or not because that ps3 is not jailbroken and will not have any info.
Hope you guys will help me out thnx in advance

people need to start to work on gettiong the newer games to work more then downgrading. I for one would like to see a few new games playable on 3.41 but thats just me, if i knew how and what to do id work on them myself.

Thats what they are doing ^_^ by decrypting stuff they can fix issues with newer games. It's just not in normal terms such as,

We are currently working on getting newer games to work.

by being able to decrypt the eboot.bin and self files, they can fix these issues not to mention in the same process work further into the light of custom firmware.

I ordered my new E3 card so i can join in the fun of backing up my games is there a way to burn the games on my mac then copy them to a ext hard drive, do i need a program id just like to get a jump start on my game copying until i can just rip right to hard drive i been reading so far all i can come up with is this game copy wizard any ideas?

You dont burn games to play them on the ps3. Just FTP them using the FTP app or Gaia manager on the ps3 and use Transmit or Filezilla on your mac. It works great.

Great review. Thanks for posting such an in depth impression. I've handled one in the store, but your review covered alot of ground that I couldn't with such a limited amount of time. Based on my in-store experience and your review I think I'll be waiting for a future generation to arrive. The potential is certainly there for this device, but based on my current portfolio of tech devices (laptop, desktop, iPhone, iTouch) I'm not sure this device quite justifies the expense at this time for me.
