Developers and Programmers We've Got Something For You!

Its been a while since weve really addressed our readers and members… No wait, thats a lie. I think we never did or, at least not for a long, long while. Im here to do what could be –hacks very first public service announcement. We have some goodies for developers out there in the scene, regardless of whether youre working the PSP, Vita, PS3, Xbox or iPhone. Even if you work in a field that we arent covering, we have you covered. First things are first though.

 
Before we get into what's new for the devs and programmers we wanted to let you know that based on some great feedback we received from members we've made a change to the way the Dashhacks Facebook and Twitter pages work.  As you may be aware, we eliminated the two step redirect to articles when coming from our social media networks. Youll be taken directly to the article in which you can engorge yourself with the news. Weve also manned the –hacks Facebook and Twitter accounts. Through this, were able to reach out to you guys, see whats up and what not.

Along with this batch of changes, we also started to provision for our scene developers. Developer activity has been low and we want to get it back. If you are already a developer (Known as Programmers on the forums), you already know of the section thats available to you guys.

We wanted to take this further by providing dedicated forums for devs that request it. With your own forums, youll be able to have full control of everything ranging from release threads to support. You can manage the forum as you see fit. If you have additional members on your team, well make them moderators as well. As always, you will have your project front paged and added to the downloads section, every time there is a release or an update. We feel by doing this, we will further embrace the community as well as the scene.

We arent stopping here either. We have a ton more ideas lined up for –hacks for both our members and developers. We have been listening to the feedback being left by our members. We will be getting them pushed out as soon as possible. If you have any suggestions, feel free to contact us via our social networks or drop a comment below.

I believe thats all to be said. As time goes on, we will be providing updates on everything. We heard your feedback and are working on your suggestions in order to reclaim the Dashhacks reputation as the #1 site for hacks and homebrew!
