That's pretty cool. If you're looking to upgrade you can find all the latest downloads on Cobra's website right here. That includes their 3.55 CFW and Cobra USB firmware.
Note: If you do not own a Cobra USB stick, then you need not upgrade to their custom firmware. But know this: Hackers are working to reverse the Cobra, figuring out how it all works, and it is a safe bet it'll be open sourced, flashing its way onto our USB dev. boards ... sooner or later.

The only thing that can "unlock" (I assume you mean downgrade) a 3.60+ console is Infectus.

So I am all for the wait but the game list is growing and I hope devs release a new cfw soon. But I think they may be waiting till MW3 and BF3 is released. That to me would be a good time to release it.

You do know usernames don't point you towards where people live/work/phone numbers. If someone wanted to release it under a different Alias (obviously not your first name as an alias) can still retain all the credit they want from their project.
9/10 Releases on PS3-Hacks don't include the developers/programmers first and/or last name.
They can release it anonymously and still retain credit and still get the satisfaction of releasing something without the fear of being tracked down.
Of course, they can track you down if you made an alias like ohhh I don't know, your first and last name?
Ex. Geo(rge)Hot(z).

There are other methods of doing it, too. Last I checked there was a memory card unit that enabled playing PSX/PS2 backups.

I don't know what a VPN is /s, or what a Proxy is, or why anyone in their right mind if they had Keys to a firmware would release it at their OWN HOUSE?
I wonder if theres public places to let you use computers? even if you didn't wanna move there's so many alternatives.
But yes to your comment, if someone wanted to release keys on their own ISP on their home network through their facebook account, then I wouldn't advise it.

I dont think the 3.66 will ever be jailbroken, unless its a modchip hardware not software
