Another Backup Manager - IrisManager v1.0

Who likes backup managers? Because D_Skywalk has another one comin' in hot: IrisManager v1.0. IrisManager is based off Hermes' HManager with a touch of syscall 8 and other modifications. Plus it's open source and built with PSL1GHT, which ups the coolness factor by a couple points. And with that said you can grab the source at git-hacks! Download: IrisManager v1.0

That's all we need... another backup manager and a bunch of people asking for 3.60 customfirmware hack to go with it... I mean... Hermes is a good guy... been knowing him since Wii homebrew started... never heard of D_Skywalk... but point is.. all this post is really going to do is get the complainers fired up again on both sides of the court... I don't even have my ps3 hacked at the moment because I think the ps3dev is still way to young for anything to become stable without a bunch of work around updates and bans... sooner or later Sony will probably throw in the towel when they realize that they have been officially "pwned" (owned).

Good effort though... just one more log added to the fire in the backup/pirate world of ps3 homebrew... It looks like Nintendo finally gave up with their updates for a good while.. what's the point? Although.. their security features was nothing with Marcan and Bushing and other TeamTwiizer members... although I am sure they are not happy to see pirates avast in the ps3dev world... but who's gonna stop'em?? Because there are so many devpirates out there that are working just as hard as the devs that truly want a homebrew community without backup loaders/apps flying in...

So much drammmmmmma!

Seriously. Multiman is THE only way to go. Its sharp, easy to use, doesn't crash and is very stable with KMEAW. I wanna see a Justin.Tv homebrew app. Lets bring back the old good. Or a Blue Ray ripper. Something new.

The developers can only do so much! We already have Graf_Chokolo who is more skilled than most of them combined working on Linux.

I don't think we will see emulators fast because they need to learn how to make them first or in any case improve the ones already released and too my bet that probably needs a lot of brainpower so for right now if you want to be a developer pickup Hermes Open source Backup manager, make a few changes it to it (all you need to do is change the logo) Release it as your own!!! :)

I want 50 backup managers, I want to load up my ps3 and have the same program do the same thing but I want 50 versions of that same program so I can load my backups while I load my backups while I load my backups so I can load my backups.

Tired of people bitching for new cfw. It is nobody's fault you missed the 3.55 bus friends. There really isnt a reason for one. Homebrew, backups (including ALL new releases) still work on 3.55. Emulators too. What more could you want.

If you are on 3.56 or higher you have two options. Buy an older system on 3.55 or below (they are probably still in stores), used system works too, or create your own fucking 3.60 cfw.

It is rediculous and disrespectful to demand it. Very childish. Why would someone want to release one with all the assholes who feel they deserve it. I know i wouldn't.

there is a big ass diffrent between a PC and the ps3.
its hard to explan to you. but pc use x86 processors wich is easy to make software for. ps3 use (PPE) wich is hard and not many dev haven't learned how to code for it will.

Exactly. KaKaRoTo is working on a future CFW. Won't be released until 3.70 OFW or later... NOT SURE IF THESE FUCKING 12 YEAR OLD RETARDS CAN UNDERSTAND THAT. no, Waninkoko was the creator of the CFW (3.55) that bricked a lot of Old PS3s and also the creator of the most stable (v2) CFW to date, which is not supported for some reason by this manager (why??) ... Kakaroto is another person, dunno what is he doing right now ....

This BM is unique, it allows you to play BIG FILE games from the external. Use it to copy those games eg GT5, Killzone 1-2 to usb external. Then it will put the large files on the internal drive. It frees up space and works beautifully. People should read up on things before rubbishing them. This is the best BM for now.

Bullshit nothing. If you're single and/or childless and don't know shit about how people who don't know can make mistakes, if your kid or girl or whoever decides they wanna play, or buys a game on their own and plays it in your system and it requests an update, most people do it without thinking.

Yes, you can change some options around to avoid the problem, but you can't prevent it, especially with kids who don't understand or spouses who don't know.

No the latest shipment's of PS3 consoles are 3.55.. But your lucky if you get a 3.55 as most are on 3.50 still..

I agree on the stability of multiMAN, but I don't like the fact that you have to run the LVL2 Patcher thing every time you turn on the console. Personally, I typically use Rogero Manager first (because it auto-patches and mounts the BD) and multiMAN later (because the interface is better).

You don't have to run LVL patchers. Not anymore. All backups are now automated when your PS3 starts :)

is there any disk error fixes yet i have bullet storm it loads ok then after a level or two it stops saying disk was ejected and cant continue and i have two games it comes up with error code on the godfather 1 and larry box office can one one help i dont know if theres any patch or if anyone working on it thanx
