Last night's Skyrim v1.5 update was a big one indeed and unfortunately, it's already presenting problems for PS3 gamers.
The update has its share of bugfixes but it seems as if a new one has slipped in and was completely missed during the quality assurance process. The bug is quite big as the patch since it prevents you from entering the water at any area in the world. If you attempt to do so, you won't be swimming like Carlos of San Andreas but rather freezing the game.
Bethesda has already acknowledged the bug and says the band-aid solution is to delete the user data from the PS3. When it gets reinstalled on the next boot, you'll be able to take swims again. Bethesda has not commented on when an official patch will be released to fix this bug.

Skyrim is really addictive and brilliant, and now with the DLC Dawnguard my gaming hours are filled.
