As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. If you are using any CFWs to sign into the PSN these days, I urge you not to as your account and console may in fact receive a lifetime ban from use!

While we have been reporting all kinds of 4.x firmware releases over the past couple of weeks, that certainly hasn't stopped all developers from trying to find their own way to fill the gap. Thanks to this new release, we now have yet another stable way to experience Sony's latest firmware.

A lot of teams have been releasing 4.21 custom firmware options these days, but if you're a user on the scene I think we may have just found the new standard. Rebug is back with CFW 421.1 and 355.3!

Just days after 4.30 hit the update servers Sony is working fast to correct some errors with the newly released 4.31. Believe it or not, this update does not take any direct action against your CFW, so you can breathe a sigh of relief.

The flood gates were opened yesterday with the release of the Bluedisk CFW. In light of the huge recent developments, the popular programmer known as Rogero has fired back with his own 4.21 CFW as well.

Just as one door has opened with the 4.25 CFW, you can expect another one to close tomorrow with the incoming 4.30 official firmware update. While it may impact some of that CFW PSN access, the good news is all you trophy collectors will probably be happy.
